Important – all Swim Club member’s meeting
6:30pm Monday 3 December 2018 (at the pool)
At the General P&C meeting in November, a proposal was put forward “to empty sub-committee bank accounts at the beginning of each year and move the money to the P&C general account and services account.
If you are interested in influencing the future accounting arrangements of your swim club, you are encouraged to attend this meeting to discuss the pros and cons of the proposal and help determine swim club’s position. This position will then be conveyed back to the P&C.

About Swim Club
The Coorparoo State School Swim Club provides an opportunity for children to participate in competitive swimming with a focus on skills development and personal improvement.
The Club welcomes young swimmers of all ages and abilities from both Coorparoo State School and the wider community. Children do not have to be good swimmers to enjoy the benefits of our Swim Club. We promote participation, improvement and having fun. Members of other clubs are also welcome. Swim Club is also a great way to meet other members of the school and wider community.
Coorparoo State School Swim Club members enjoy the benefits of:
- A modern 25 metre, 8 lane pool;
- Electronic timing system;
- Covered grandstand;
- Canteen, BBQ and bar facilities; and
- An enthusiastic team of volunteers and supporters.
The management of the Club is vested in the Coorparoo State School Swim Club Committee; a sub-committee of the Coorparoo State School P&C Association.
